Common Core Tai Chi

Each week we meet under the shade of the trees and train the Common Core Tai Chi method for peak fitness, health, and self defense.

The Common Core method was created by classical Zhaobao style tai chi master Zhao Wei Dong to reveal and simplify the CORE training method behind all genuine Tai Chi practice.  In this class students are taught HOW TO DO the exercises in the specific way that allows the body to realign and recharge it’s own self healing abilities.  Previous experience in tai chi is not required to begin, however basic general physical fitness is required to participate.  THIS IS NOT A SENIORS PACED CLASS.  Expect 60 minutes of active movement while standing. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing that allows movement and flat sole closed toe shoes.  Genuine body changes can be achieved in as little as 3 months of weekly practice.

Consistent practice can assist the body in strengthening muscles, tendons and bones; improving cardiovascular, respiratory and immune functions; enhancing mood, sleep, memory, cognition and brain connectivity; and relieving stress, pain and inflammation.

Ryan instructs weekly class.
