In this class we train tai chi for health and self defense focusing on internal body alignment, breathwork and movement. Each week we improve using the Common Core tai chi training method created by Zhaobao tai chi master Zhao Wei Dong. In this class students are taught HOW TO DO the CORE exercises in the specific way that allows the body to realign and recharge it’s own self healing and strength abilities. Previous experience in tai chi is not required to begin, however general physical fitness is required to participate. THIS IS NOT a seniors paced movement class. This class is ideal for Gen X men who are looking to train the body correctly and prevent injury. Expect 90 minutes of active movement while standing. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing that allows movement and flat sole closed toe shoes. Genuine body changes can be achieved in as little as 3 months of weekly practice. This is nothing like your folks version of tai chi…so get your ass to class!

This is an ongoing monthly class series. One month commitment is required to register at the tuition rate.
Expect normal interactive close physical contact between attendees. All participants are required to be self responsible about their health and participation with the group.
